1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS Clone

|
Very nice recreation of an original 1969 Chevy El Camino SS. Documented 3 owner Southern California vehicle. Exterior correctly prepped by bringing all body panels to bare metal prior to the application of Dupont Jet Black Imron and the custom white, yellow, and red flames on the front grille and hood areas. The paint is solid, done right and great looking. Chrome and stainless trim pieces are shiny and without dings or blemishes. The comfortable cabin features a bench seat with new cloth inserts and new carpet installed 2 years ago. The door panels are original with SS badges and in remarkable condition for the age of the vehicle. All gauges, lamps, "idiot" lights, and other instruments are fully functional. Power steering, tilt steering wheel, power front disc brakes (drums in the rear), power windows, power door locks. Has the original factory AM FM radio, a custom made console to house the high-end Kenwood stereo system, speakers and auxiliary gauges, and an Autosound Corvette SOUNDBAR installed behind the seat. The Chevy 350 engine has been professionally rebuilt with a mild cam and has less than 5,000 miles on it. It has plated headers, aluminum intake manifold, 4 bbl carb, and a new chrome water pump. The TH400 transmission was professionally rebuilt less than 3 years ago and has less than 1,000 miles on it. The dual exhaust system has less than 4,000 miles, the entire brake system was professionally rebuilt with a new master cylinder 3,000 miles ago, and the battery is 2 years old. The suspension is stock, with the exception of the air shocks installed years ago in the rear. The heater is not connected and only needs the 'bib' fitting of the water pump to hook up. The entire drivetrain is solid and reliable.
Wheels and Tires: Cragar S/S chrome wheels are mounted on Goodrich T/A radials. Front tires: P23560RX15; Rear Tires: P9550R X15.
